In brief: Players to run to the position designated ‘here’, ‘there’ & ‘everywhere’ which is contrary to the actual notion.

Introduction: Need a running activity for large groups? You will need an open area for this.

How to play:

• Mark out the locations of ‘Here’, ‘There’ and ‘Everywhere’ (see picture).
• The participants will find it confusing as the locations are named in a way contradictory to their meaning.
• Shout out the name of one of the locations.
• The participants are supposed to go to the correct location.
• The last one to get to the correct location will have to perform a forfeit.

Caution:

• Avoid rough ground.
• Caution participants about running into one another.

Variation(s):

1. To add to the confusion, you could mislead the participants by beckoning to the participants while shouting, “Here!”
2. Have 2 or 3 trainers stand at different locations, taking turns to shout the commands. In this case, ‘Here’ is opposite the trainer, ‘There’ is in front of the trainer and ‘Everywhere’ is to the left and right of the trainer. Participants will need to run to the location relative to the trainer who gives the command (similar to the ‘Square’ game).
