Twenty-one Questions

How to play:

  • The person who initiates the game has to think of a person or an object that is of common or general knowledge, e.g. cloud, laptop, apple, elephant, etc.
  • No technical terms are allowed, unless everyone in the group is as geeky as the initiator.
  • The rest of the group will try to guess what that person is thinking of by asking a maximum of 21 close-ended questions (answer must be ‘yes’ or ‘no).
  • Participants should determine beforehand the number of guesses allowed to identify the object in mind.
