In brief: Group to move a closed rope loop held at waist level.
Intensity: Medium
Introduction: A game I learned from the Centurion workshop in 2008.
Prop(s): A piece of rope long enough to go around the group of players standing an arm’s-length apart from one another.
How to play:
- All the players stand in a circle at least an arm’s-length apart.
- Tie the ends of a long rope together so that it forms a closed loop.
- The players will lean against the rope such that it is held at waist height.
- Without moving their feet and without dropping the rope, ask the players to try to move the knot (tied using the 2 ends of the rope) one full circle around the group.

Caution:
- Avoid thin nylon cord. Choose ropes that are at least 11mm thick to avoid ‘rope burn’.
