In brief: In pairs, first person to add up all fingers wins.
Intensity: Low
Introduction: A great energising game which can be played with groups of any size.
Prop(s): None
How to play:
- The participants have to pair-up.
- Everyone puts his/her hands behind the back.
- In their own time, the pair will shout, “Quick Draw”.
- At the word “Draw”, both of them will whip their hands to the front and display a certain number of fingers (see picture).
- Whoever is able first add up the total number of fingers of both parties, wins.

Variation(s):
- Instead of addition, multiplication or subtraction (the total number of fingers of one player against the other) can be done.
- Instead of adding the number of fingers that are held out, call out the sum of fingers which are folded.
- In case there is an odd number of players, one group may have 3 members. In fact, this game can be played in small groups of 3 to 8 people.
- Those in Singapore, and maybe around the region, may know the term “O-pe-ah-som” (which is a game we played as kids to separate a group into two teams by showing either the palms or the back of our hands). Use the phrase “O-pe-ah-som” in place of “Quick Draw”. The mechanics of the game (i.e. be the first to guess the sum/product of fingers) remain unchanged. This just adds a local flavour to the game.
