In brief: Name (clap, clap), Next person’s name (snap, snap)
Intensity: Low
Introduction: Now that the participants know one another, test how well they can remember one another’s names
Prop(s): None
How to play:
- Tell the participants to stand/sit in a circle.
- The actions for the game go like this – 2 hand claps, followed by 2 finger snaps.
- Start the game by saying your own name while clapping twice, and mentioning someone else’s name while snapping your fingers twice.
- The person who has been called will now do the same – saying his/her own name while clapping twice, and mentioning someone’s else name while snapping his/her fingers twice.
- So, it goes something like this:
- David: “David (clap, clap), Adam (snap, snap)”.
- Adam: “Adam (clap, clap), Kelly (snap, snap)”.
- Kelly: “Kelly (clap, clap), Benjamin (snap, snap)”.
- Note that the names are mentioned while the claps and snaps are going on.
- To prevent the game from getting trapped between a few individuals, set that rule that the last 3 names are not to be repeated.
