In brief: Players form a circle, hold hands and do toe tag.
Intensity: Medium
Prop(s): None
How to play:
- The participants form a circle by linking hands.
- The game starts off with everyone being ‘it’ and able to tag anyone.
- Tagging is done by touching the person’s foot (lightly please!)
- Once tagged, the person is out of the game and has to indicate this by (ready or not!) sticking his/her tongue out.
- Since all hands must be linked throughout the game, the tagged person will still be able to move, to allow the rest of the members to tag the remaining ones.
- The game continues until one member is left. Sometimes it might end up with everyone being ‘tagged’ but that’s alright. It is part of the fun.
Caution:
- Participants should be wearing shoes to avoid injury.
- Remind the participants to tag each other lightly on the foot.
Variation(s):
- An additional rule could be that participants are not allowed to tag those on their immediate left and right unless the member runs out of options (i.e. the last 2 surviving members are next to each other).
Notes to the Facilitator: This is modification of the ‘Everybody’s it’ game and can be played without running.
