In brief: Twisting of palm so that middle fingers of both hands point up and down.
Intensity: Low
Introduction: A filler which can be played alone, in pairs or as a large group. It contains elements of problem-solving, coaching and working as a team.
Prop(s): None
How to play:
- Follow the steps shown in the pictures (right).
- Press your 2 palms against each other (i).
- Cross the middle fingers (ii).
- Rotate and slide the palms so that one middle finger is pointing up and the other down (iii & iv).

- If the fingers become entangled, it is most probably because you slid your palms in the wrong direction.
- Ask those who have figured out the solution to coach those who have not.
Variation(s):
- Carry out this activity in pairs.
- Form a circle and ask the participants to carry this out with the person on the left and right.
Notes to the Facilitator: In some cultures, the sticking out of middle finger is a vulgarity. I avoid doing this games with young children.
