Introduction: Getting complaints from the facilitator next door for being too noisy as the participants gather in groups? Here is a way to do it quietly.

How to play:

• Let’s say you need to form the groups into teams of 5 for discussion.
• Get the members to assign themselves numbers, e.g. if you need to form 5 teams, have the first 5 members label themselves from 1 to 5, then repeat this for the next 5 members and so on until every member has a number between 1 and 5.
• Tell all the ‘1’s to gather into a group, the ‘2’s into another and so on, but all is to be done without any talking.
